Subspecialty Residents / Fellows
I was born and raised in Ethiopia. I completed medical school at Jimma University College of Medicine. After graduation, I worked as a general practitioner, then did three years of residency in pediatrics and child health at Addis Ababa University Medical Faculty where I gained in depth experience in managing children with diverse medical and related problems. I ultimately wanted to peruse my career in Child Neurology. After I moved to the United States, I completed three years of residency in general pediatrics at Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York. I am grateful for the opportunity to start a new chapter in Child Neurology at University of Florida in Gainesville. Outside of work I love spending time with my beautiful wife and adorable kids. I also enjoy running, playing soccer and tennis.
