Anju grew up in Broadview Heights, Ohio and graduated from Northeast Ohio Medical University. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, biking, and snorkeling (when she gets the chance)! She is excited to move down to Gainesville to pursue her pediatric residency at UF Shands Children’s Hospital and become a part of the gator family!
Subspecialty: Developmental, Behavioral and Primary care
Devin is a Floridian born and raised in the Tampa Bay area. She also is a returning Gator after disappearing to the Caribbean for medical school at Ross University, followed by completing family medicine residency in South Carolina (she got really lost). When she grows up, Devin hopes to work in primary care and keep her developmentally disabled patients as they age into adulthood! In her “spare time” she enjoys baking for her co-residents, doing puzzles, crocheting, reading, and going to the beach or springs whenever she can.
Subspecialty: General Pediatrics, GI, Informatics, Academic Medicine and Teaching
Taylor was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. After completing college in Toronto, she worked in STEM education for a year before moving to Nashville, Tennessee where she completed her Medical Degree in 2021 at Meharry Medical College. In her free time Taylor loves to exercise and eat unhealthy food (after all, life is about balance). She loves to travel, most recently to visit her other brother in Philadelphia, but she is eager for international travel to return so she can visit her parents in Canada!

My husband and I are so excited to start residency in Gainesville! This is our first time being far away from home and family, and will undoubtedly be homesick. We are looking forward to making new friends and making this our home for the next three years.
Jiabi was born in China then moved to Virginia over a decade ago . She attended both undergraduate and medical school at Virginia Commonwealth University. During her free time, she enjoys exploring the outdoors and nature, traveling, exercising, cooking international cuisines, and trying out different restaurants.
Subspecialty: General Pediatrics/ Global Health
Hannah was born in Dubai and moved to the U.S. when she was four. She has lived in 5 states, most recently in Oregon where she earned her MS and MD at OHSU. She’s excited to move closer to family in Florida and serve as a pediatric resident at UF!
Kelly grew up in Madison, MS and is a graduate of Mississippi State University. She then attended University of Mississippi for medical school where she met her husband, Alex. Outside of medicine she enjoys cooking for friends and family, gardening, shopping at thrift stores, and exploring the great outdoors!
Subspecialty: Child Neurology
After completing his undergrad at UF (Go Gators!) and moving to Philadelphia for medical school, Michael is so excited to return to the swamp for his residency! In his downtime, you can find Michael cheering on the Gator football team, playing tennis, reading Harry Potter, cooking for his fiance, or going to Disney World.
Sallie was born in Gainesville, FL, and grew up in Vicksburg, MS. This baby gator is excited to be back in Gainesville as a doctor gator! She aspires to incorporate her artistic talents in her pediatric medical career.
Subspecialty: Pediatric Cardiology
Lane is an Alabama native. She attended Auburn University for her undergraduate degree and University of South Alabama College of Medicine for medical school, where she graduated with Research Honors. Outside of medicine, Lane’s pride and joy is her dog, Remi the Cavapoo. She also enjoys waterskiing, Pure Barre, and is an avid reader.
Emma grew up in Appleton, Wisconsin where she attended St. Norbert College for undergrad and Medical College of Wisconsin for medical school. She competed in gymnastics for 12 years and is excited to be a gator. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

Aneeb grew up in Valparaiso, Indiana and is the youngest of 5 children. He and his wife have always dreamed of leaving the snow behind and are excited to start the next chapter of their lives in the Sunshine State. Outside of medicine, Aneeb enjoys watching jeopardy, trying new recipes with his wife, and reading about geography/history.
Subspecialty: Leaning towards general pediatrics, with an interest in medical education and global health!
Saachi is a transplant to Florida, originally hailing from the Washington DC metropolitan area. She studied public health and biology at Johns Hopkins University, attended medical school at the University of Maryland, and is thrilled to now work with the kiddos and families at Shands Children’s Hospital. Outside of medicine, she enjoys curling up with a good book, discovering new yoga poses, traveling, and most especially, eating (nothing is off the table!).
Monica grew up in Ridgeland, MS. She attended Millsaps College for undergrad and the University of Mississippi Medical Center for medical school. She has never left Mississippi and is very excited to start this new adventure in a different city. She enjoys getting to know new friends over good food!
Iriyise was born in Lagos, Nigeria. She graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University College of Health Sciences and worked at the Nigerian Air Force Hospital before moving to Toronto with her family. She is excited to join the UF family and start her residency training at Gainesville. She likes music, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
A lifetime Floridian, Jacob grew up in Haines City near Orlando, attended to the University of Florida for undergrad, and completed medical school at the University of Central Florida. He enjoys exploring the natural beauty of the state, and is a Disney and Pixar enthusiast. Jacob is excited to return to Gainesville and begin a wonderful career as a pediatrician!

Jarrett is originally from Winter Springs, Florida and attended the University of Central Florida for his undergraduate degree (Go Knights!). He has a golden retriever named Archie and a turtle named Tip-Top. When he’s not playing with his puppy, he is either cooking or watching whatever sport he can find on the TV.
Carly attended undergraduate and medical school in her home state of Arkansas. She chose pediatrics because of her love for children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter and being outdoors. She is excited for residency to continue pursuing her passion for medicine and experience life in the Sunshine State!
