Bahadir hails from Kayseri, Turkey, where he was born, raised, and completed his medical education, nestled near one of the world’s oldest medical institutions, the 800-year-old Åžifahane of Gevher Nesibe, as well as ancient Cappadocia. Beyond neuroscience, he cherishes moments with his lively wife and rambunctious daughter, enjoys playing the oud, exploring history, literature, and discovering new destinations. He remains passionate about cartoons and aspires to contribute to an animation project someday. He is a proud and unapologetic-fan of “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood” and Harry Potter!

Ally grew up in Northern Virginia and traveled almost three thousand miles to the West Coast to obtain her bachelors degree at UCLA. Traversing the country again, she landed in Vermont at the Larner College of Medicine to pursue her medical education, where she met her partner, Stephen. Ally and Stephen participated in the couples match and are excited to begin their residency training at UF and call Gainesville their new home. In her free time, Ally enjoys doing all-outs at Orangetheory, utilizing her industrial Kitchen Aid, and cuddling with her cat, Mookie.
