Mariem is first generation medical doctor who was born and raised in Egypt where she went to medical school. Outside of medicine, she enjoys exploring new places, walking by the beach, and painting. She is excited to join UF Pediatrics family.

Joanna loves to spend her time doing yoga and trying new restaurants , she is born and raised in Amman, Jordan , excited to begin her next chapter here at UF!

Jaxon grew up outside of DFW, primarily in a small town named Argyle, TX. He attended UCLA for undergrad and Texas Tech for medical school. Jaxon loves to boulder, hike, or anything else that takes him out into nature. Otherwise, you can find him drawing, crafting, playing guitar, or walking his cat.

Morgan grew up in Casselberry, Florida, and pursued both her undergraduate and medical degrees at Florida State University. In her free time, Morgan enjoys listening to true crime podcasts, watching Food Network shows, crocheting, and spending days at the beach. She is excited to join the Gator Peds Family!

Connor is an avid weightlifter having competed in Indiana’s Strongest Man in 2022 and placing 4th in the Novice Heavyweight Division. In his free time, he like learning new recipes and cooking with his wife, Joelle and spending time outside.

Rycki is an outgoing individual who loves to have fun and make others laugh. Outside of the hospital Rycki is a competitive bodybuilder in the NPC, enjoys riding horses and trying new local restaurants!

Keren spent most of her life growing up in South Florida. She attended Florida Atlantic University, where she received her high school, bachelors, and MD degrees. She is excited to remain in Florida, appreciating its many natural beauties while also having the opportunity to treat its diverse population. In her free time, Keren enjoys crocheting, exercising, spending time with her family/friends, playing with her cat (Binky), and traveling. She is thrilled to join the UF Peds family!

Carter grew up in Tampa, Florida and attended the University of Florida for undergrad. After four years in Alabama for medical school, he is excited to move back to the sunshine state along with his wife and son. In his free time, he enjoys baking, walking his dogs, and playing sports.

Muna was born and raised in Jordan. After graduating from the medical college of Jordan University of Science and Technology , she pursued her childhood dream of becoming a pediatrician, following in her father’s footsteps. She embarked on a new chapter in Gainesville, Florida, with her supportive husband, embracing the sunshine state’s vibrant energy. In her free time, she finds joy in cooking, traveling, and gardening. She is excited to join the UF Gators family and help kids feel better.

Amelia grew up in Kentucky, before going to Chicago for college. She spent 6 years working in Chicago Public Schools before attending medical school at Northwestern University. She is excited to grow as a pediatrician and experience the Florida weather, and enjoys spending time with her husband, their son, and her two sisters.

Hey everyone, I was born and raised in Somerset, KY but am coming from Lexington where I attended UK for college and medical school. I am ecstatic to be joining the UF pediatric family! Outside of Medicine, I enjoy traveling, fitness, spending time with my family (which includes my dogs), and attending church.

Anais was born and raised in Venezuela before she moved to Miami, FL. She attended Florida International University, where she completed both her undergraduate and medical education. Now, she is thrilled to join the Gator Family at UF Shands alongside her partner! Outside of medicine, Anais enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, working out, and hanging out with her dog.

Chloe grew up in Montgomery Village, Maryland, and came to Florida to complete her undergraduate education at the University of Central Florida. She attended the University of Florida for medical school and is excited to remain as a double Gator in the Child Neurology residency program! Outside of medicine, she enjoys watching and playing soccer, playing tabletop games, reading sci-fi and fantasy books, and spending time with her friends and family.

Steven was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, but moved to Mobile to attend the University of South Alabama for both undergrad and medical school. Outside of medicine, he enjoys exploring new restaurants, listening to music, and spending time with his family, friends, and dog, Gypsy.

Bahadir hails from Kayseri, Turkey, where he was born, raised, and completed his medical education, nestled near one of the world’s oldest medical institutions, the 800-year-old Åžifahane of Gevher Nesibe, as well as ancient Cappadocia. Beyond neuroscience, he cherishes moments with his lively wife and rambunctious daughter, enjoys playing the oud, exploring history, literature, and discovering new destinations. He remains passionate about cartoons and aspires to contribute to an animation project someday. He is a proud and unapologetic-fan of “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood” and Harry Potter!

Revanth was born and raised in Hyderabad, India (The City of Pearls), and graduated from Chalmeda Anand Rao Institute. He enjoys spending time with friends and socializing during his free time. He also loves to cook and is a pro at cooking the Indian dish “Pav Bhaji”. He swims, plays piano, and loves to work out and do yoga during his free time. He is very excited to move to Gainesville, start his pediatric residency training, and become a part of the Gator family!!

Ally grew up in Northern Virginia and traveled almost three thousand miles to the West Coast to obtain her bachelors degree at UCLA. Traversing the country again, she landed in Vermont at the Larner College of Medicine to pursue her medical education, where she met her partner, Stephen. Ally and Stephen participated in the couples match and are excited to begin their residency training at UF and call Gainesville their new home. In her free time, Ally enjoys doing all-outs at Orangetheory, utilizing her industrial Kitchen Aid, and cuddling with her cat, Mookie.

Harrison is an MD that graduated from USF in 2020. In his spare time, he likes to paint, draw, and photograph flowers.

Shawn grew up in a small suburb outside of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and studied Biology at the University of Pennsylvania and then attended medical school at Boston University. Outside of medicine, he enjoys playing sports, trying new restaurants, and going on hikes with his mini Australian Shepherd Oreo.
