Medical Education Track

The intended audience for this program is residents who anticipate a career in academic medicine, desire to engage in scholarship related to teaching and learning, and hold aspirations of leadership roles in institutions with academic health sciences programs. Designated residents in the medical education track participate in three fully online courses, each spanning a period of eight weeks.

Each course draws upon context-specific experiences related to teaching and learning encountered as a UF pediatric resident. This track is fully integrated into the general Pediatric Residency Training Program, offering a broad introduction to contemporary educational theory, instructional methods, and context-relevant project work that will be applied and evaluated onsite.
